Welcome!
The Lake Region Arts Council is pleased to announce the sixteen students selected to receive the 2010 Artist Mentor scholarships. The goal of this program is to enhance each student's artistic creativity, skill, and personal growth.
The students will study their chosen art discipline one-on-one with a practicing professional artist June through September, 2010; or students will attend a camp or workshop to strengthen their skills within their art discipline.
Applications were received from the nine counties of the Lake Region Arts Council region. Students auditions were completed on April 17, 2010 at Underwood High School. Professional artists and educators reviewed the sessions and made the following student selections:
